Every Indian knows the importance of Holi which is celebrated in the month of Phalguna as per the Hindu calendar. It is started on the evening of the Purnima which means full moon day. One of the major festivals in India, Holi is the day on which people forget about everything and enjoy life without any stress. On this day people smear each other colors called gulal and sing & dance on usually Hindi songs that are usually based on holi. This day also represents the triumph of good over evil because of the famous episode of demon king Hiranyakashyap, his Vishnu devotee son Prahlad, his sister demon Holika, and a pyre. Through this, many Indians also celebrate the end of winter and the start of the spring which is good for harvest.
