Germany got successful in their goals on Tuesday to Brazil their humiliating World Cup loss ever with an astonishing 7-1 rout in the semifinals that amazed the host nation. Miroslav Klose set the record and become the World Cup’s all-time leading scorer with 16 goals.

Germans finally reached their 8th final and will stand against either Argentina or the Netherlands on Sunday at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Before this, the biggest World Cup loss of Brazil was 3-0 to France in the 1998 finals. This matched their biggest ever margin of defeat in any competition, equaling a 6-0 loss to Uruguay in the South American championship, the predecessor of the Copa America in 1920.
